What is Secret™ RF and it’s benefits?
Secret™ RF is a nonsurgical, revolutionary aesthetic technology that uses radio frequency (RF) microneedling, or tiny needles that puncture the skin, to reduce skin imperfections.
By adjusting the micro-needles, Secret™ RF can deliver energy at various depths, so that treatments can be tailored to address each patient’s individual concerns, such as:

• Loss of elasticity
• Acne scars

• In some cases, rosacea and cellulite reduction

What should I expect with Secret™ RF treatment?
Secret™ RF’s unique technology and customized delivery of energy, enables us to tailor treatments for a variety of skin concerns, on all skin types. It allows for deeper skin penetration, to yield more dramatic results, in fewer treatments.
A topical anesthetic cream will be applied about 25 minutes prior to treatment, to manage any discomfort during your session. Microneedling sessions are quick and efficient, often lasting less than 30 minutes to treat an area, such as the face.
Secret™ RF induces dermal remodeling by applying precision controlled RF energy directly into various depths of skin, from 0.5mm – 3.5mm, with minimally invasive micro-needles to spare the epidermis and reduce patient downtime.
Most patients experience mild to moderate redness in the treated area for about 24 hours post, depending on depth of treatment. Because the skin will feel warm like a mild sunburn, patients will be instructed to use a mild cleanser and moisturizer for 2 days post, as well as a mineral sunscreen. Normal skin care regimen and makeup use can be resumed 2-3 days post.
*Please note: If you are prone to cold sores or have ever had shingles on or near the area you want treated, you should discuss this with us at your consultation. This procedure is not recommended if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or are breast feeding. RF procedures are contraindicated for those with pacemakers or defibrillators.
When will I notice results?
Your provider may recommend Secret™ RF treatments every four to six weeks, for a total of three sessions, depending on laxity and desired results. After two weeks, you’ll notice rejuvenated skin, with more dramatic results appearing about two months after your second treatment.
