A sophisticated form of exfoliation, this treatment removes surface skin cells along with vellus hair referred to as “peach fuzz”. Allowing for a smoother complexion, this treatment instantly softens skin, making makeup application flawless and skin care products penetrate deeper. Kendra will start with an alpha/beta hydroxy toning solution, which helps loosen up the dead skin cells. After dermaplaning, skin appears brighter, feels silky smooth and some may have a slight pink tone for a few hours post. A facial massage will follow, as well as an application of SPF. It is recommended to use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for a few days post treatment. Dermaplaning requires no downtime and is typically scheduled at 3-4 week intervals or as needed.
